Day 1 – Arrival in Cusco at any time, you will then be picked up and transported to your accommodation for check in, after checking into your accommodation you will need to visit the agency office for a short briefing regarding your tour and trek, you will then have the remainder of the day to relax or explore Cusco on your own.
Day 2 – Today you will be able to sleep in a bit if you want, or you can explore the city of Cusco, making sure to return to your accommodation by 12:30 pm. You will then be picked up between 12:30 pm and 1:15 pm for the start of your ½ day city tour. During this tour you will visit the main Cathedral and then Qorikancha before taking a bus up to the sites overlooking the City, Saqsaywaman which contains some of the largest stones used in any Inka construction, Q’enqo a funerary center, Pucapucara which was a fort, and Tambomachay which is known as the Inca baths. After your tour you will be dropped off back in Cusco at approximately 6:30 pm
Day 3 – After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel between 7:45 am and 8:00 am, you will then be driven through the stunning Sacred Valley and dropped off near the 4,200m high Abra Malaga. Here you will change into the biking kit provided (gloves and helmet) and receive a 20 minute briefing by your tour guide. Then the fun commences… freewheeling down quiet but challenging roads, past changing landscapes, while the jungle´s edge rears up to the small but charming town of Santa Maria. Here you will have lunch at a local restaurant, then buy snacks for the follow day, and then you would take a car in the afternoon of day 1 from Santa Maria to Santa Teresa and spend the first night in Santa Teresa.
River Rafting is an optional activity this day, the rafting is approximately 2 hours and the difficulty can vary depending on the season, and may not be available if to rough.

Day 4 – You will wake up and have breakfast at around 7am. After breakfast you will walk to Colpani taking in the views until you reach the restaurant where you will have lunch at the Hidroelectrica. From here it is only about a two and a half hour flat walk to Aguas Calientes, the base town for Machu Picchu.
Today there is an option for a Zip-Line tour, this takes place after breakfast and would eliminate the first 3 hour section of hiking, as you will be transported to Hydro Electrica by car/van after the activity.

Day 5 – Today you will have two options, you can hike up to the Machu Picchu entrance, starting at 04:20 am, or you can take the optional shuttle bus, in either case you will need to be at the entrance by 06:00 am to start the guided tour of the “Lost City of the Inkas” which will last for approximately 2 hours, following the tour you will have free time to explore the ancient city before having to return to Aguas Calientes in time to catch your 6:20 pm train back to Ollantaytambo, where you will then be taken by bus back to Cusco arriving at about 10:00 pm.
Day 6 – Morning breakfast followed by transfer to the airport or bus station for your departure.
