Day 1 – Arrival in Lima at any time, pick up at your arrival point (airport, bus station etc.) and transfer to your Miraflores accommodation for check in, then you will have the remainder of the day to explore the city.

Day 2 – Transfer back to the Lima airport for your flight from Lima to Cusco (flight not included), arrival in Cusco at any time, you will then be picked up and transported to your accommodation for check in, after checking into your accommodation you will need to visit the agency office for a short briefing regarding your tours, you will then have the remainder of the day to relax or explore Cusco on your own.

Day 3 – Today you will be able to sleep in a bit if you want, or you can explore the city of Cusco, making sure to return to your accommodation by 12:30 pm. You will then be picked up between 12:30 pm and 1:15 pm for the start of your ½ day city tour. During this tour you will visit the main Cathedral and then Qorikancha before taking a bus up to the sites overlooking the City, Saqsaywaman which contains some of the largest stones used in any Inca construction, Q’enqo a funerary center, Pucapucara which was a fort, and Tambomachay which is known as the Inca baths. After your tour you will be dropped off back in Cusco at approximately 6:30 pm

Day 4 – Today you will be picked up from your accommodation around 8:00 am and depart for the Sacred Valley, your first stop will be an artisanal market where you can purchase a variety of commercial and hand made items. After the market stop you will continue on to the town of Pisac and it’s archaeological site where you will enjoy a tour of this important Inca agricultural center. After visiting Pisac you will head West through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas before taking a break to enjoy a Peruvian lunch buffet. After lunch we will continue on towards the town of Ollantaytambo, here you will have a guided tour of this ancient city before departing for your final stop in Chinchero. Chinchero is a town known for its weaving’s, and you will have an opportunity to purchase some hand made textiles, as well as enjoy a short tour of the local church and ruins. After Chinchero you will return to Cusco, arriving at about 7:00 pm.

Day 5 – Today you will be picked up from your accommodation at approximately 8:20 am and then transported approximately 40km to the West, here you will tour the town of Maras and it’s church, as well as the nearby salt mines, where salt is believed to have been harvested since before the Incas. You will also visit the site of Moray which is believed to have been a laboratory or green house, where the Inca experimented with a variety of crops (actual order of sites may vary). You will then be returned to Cusco at about 2:30 pm where you will have the remainder of the day to explore, shop and/or relax, and you will have your trek briefing in the evening.

Day 6 – Today you will depart for your chosen 4 day trek, specific trek descriptions can been seen in the “Trek Packages” section.

Day 9 – Day 4 or trek, visit Machu Picchu and return to Cusco

Day 10 – Open day to relax and recover from your trek, or we can arrange additional tours for you if you would like.

Day 11 – Morning breakfast followed by transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima (flight not included), upon arrival in Lima you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your Miraflores accommodation for check in, then you will have the remainder of the day to explore the city.

Day 12 – Today after breakfast you will be picked up to start your full day Lima tour, your first stop will be Huaca Pucllana, a large mud brick pyramid built in the 4th century. Next you will visit the museum in the Central Reserve Bank (This Museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays) where you will see a fine selection of artifacts, ceramics and gold objects from a variety of pre-colonial cultures, as well as the Cohen gold collection. The next stop will be the main square where you will see the Cathedral as well as the Government and Municipal Palaces, after the main square you will visit the San Francisco church where you will not only tour the church itself, but also the catacombs beneath the church with their rooms full of intricately stacked bones.

After the church you will enjoy lunch before setting off for Pachacamac, an archaeological site constructed around 200 AD and located approximately 40km South of Lima, here you will tour the site, visiting the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Pachacamac, and the Temple of Acllahuasi or “Palace of the Virgins of the Sun”. After the tour of Pachacamac you will return to Lima, stopping to visit the bohemian district of Barranco before being dropped off in Miraflores.

Day 13 – Today you will have a free day in Lima, you can explore on your own or we can arrange additional tours for you if you would like.

Day 14 – After breakfast you will be transferred to your departure point (airport, bus station etc.).
